Your cat’s first bath, without the stress

Cats are sensitive to new environments, loud noises and unfamiliar smells, so the first bath matters a lot: it shapes how they feel about bathing for a long time.

Before you come

• Get your cat used to the carrier 3–5 days ahead
• Trim nails in advance if you can, or ask our groomer to do it before the bath
• Skip a heavy meal 2–3 hours before travelling to avoid car sickness

Choose a salon with a separate cat zone

Barking and dog smells stress cats enormously. A salon with a separate cat area keeps them noticeably calmer. At LYT Pet the cat zone is separate and we always take time to settle your cat before starting.

After the bath
